Lourdes community encouraged to go pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Wednesday, October 15: Passionately Pink for the Cure®
Members of the Lourdes community are encouraged to wear pink during the College’s Passionately Pink for the Cure® event.
During this single-day fundraiser, participants can:
- Post a ribbon in memory/recognition of someone on the Ribbon of Remembrance
- Create “pink” jewelry
- Make a donation to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure
- Enter the “Pink Raffle” to win breast cancer awareness items
- Pick up the latest educational information on breast cancer
- Purchase a "pink" boxed lunch or snacks
*A community photo is planned for all wearing pink at 1:45 p.m. in McAlear Hall*
