To all Who Have Worn the Uniform

"Today, we send a clear message to all who have worn the uniform:
Thank you for your courage, thank you for your sacrifice, and thank you
for standing up when your nation needed you most."

— President George W. Bush, today

Thank you to those that have served and continue to serve in the United States Military. Because of you, we can celebrate our freedoms and know that those that would do us harm are kept at bay.

Thanks for your opinion Mike! I served under both the Carter and the Reagan administrations. Carter was a disaster. Reagan instilled pride. Some of my friends served under Clinton and found that beyond distastful. Other friends are currently serving in the Middle-East and from what they say, Bush has a 10 to 1 approval rating from the troops. Much like the Vietnam war this conflict has been run by Congress. If the government (particularly Congress) just allows the troops to do their jobs the USA would be out of there and possibly have Iran disarmed as well.
